London to Seoul flights,
compare the whole journey.
For a long-haul trip from London to Korea, the lowest airfare is only the first number to check. Add baggage, the cost and time of reaching your departure airport, connection quality, arrival time at Incheon and the final transfer to your Seoul hotel.
For a first Korea trip, arrival quality can be worth more than a small fare saving
If two itineraries are close in price, compare which one gives you the easier door-to-door trip. A cheaper option with awkward ground access, restrictive baggage, a long connection or a very late landing can cost more in both money and usable travel time.
Start with your real London departure
London has multiple airports, so airport access matters before you compare the flight itself. Count the time from your home or hotel to the terminal, the cost of rail or road transport, and how much buffer you need before departure. Heathrow, for example, is connected to central London by several public-transport options, so the ground journey can be planned as part of the total trip rather than treated as an afterthought.
If a fare from a different London-area airport looks cheaper, compare the full access cost before deciding. A low airfare can become less attractive once an early departure, long transfer or extra hotel night is added.
Add checked baggage, cabin-bag rules, seats and required extras.
Include the real cost and time of reaching the terminal.
Earlier arrival can protect your first evening in Seoul.
Add rail, airport bus or taxi to the comparison.
Direct or connecting?
Direct travel can reduce fatigue and missed-connection risk. A connecting itinerary can still be attractive when the saving is substantial or the departure and arrival times are better. Compare the total journey time, not only the scheduled time in the air.
For a short Korea trip, a poor connection can consume a meaningful share of your usable holiday time. For a longer trip, you may be more willing to trade time for price. The right answer depends on how many days you have and what you plan to do after Seoul.
Think about the first night before you book
Your hotel area changes the value of an arrival time. Incheon Airport lists airport railroad, airport buses and taxis among the main ways to reach Seoul. If your hotel is convenient for Seoul Station or another rail-connected area, rail may work well. If an airport-bus stop is close to the hotel, the bus can reduce luggage handling. Taxis can simplify the last leg for groups, heavy luggage or late arrivals.
The useful comparison is therefore London home → departure airport → flight → Incheon → hotel, not simply London airport → Incheon.
